Setting up your company settings.
Work through the settings tabs one at a time — your business details, VAT and banking, units of measure, email, terms and access control.
Step 1: Click “Start menu”
Step 2: Click “Settings”
Step 3: Click “Account”
Account displays all your personal account details.
Step 4: Click “Security”
In the security tab you can change your password by entering your current password and setting your new password by entering it twice.
Step 5: Click “Views”
In the Views tab, you can choose which views you want to display in your OS. If you do not work with creditors, for example, you can remove Purchase Orders, Creditors, and other unnecessary views.
This allows you to keep your OS clean, organized, and tailored to your specific needs, with only the apps and functions you actually use.
Step 6: Click “Notifications”
Notifications settings does not have any customizable features at the moment.
Step 7: Click “General”
In the General settings, you can set your time zone and enter your business information, including your company name, email address, physical address, website, contact details, and other relevant information.
Step 8: Click “Finance & Banking”
In Finance & Banking, set your applicable VAT rate and specify the number of days a quotation remains valid, as well as the payment terms indicating how many days a client has to settle an invoice.
Complete all required banking information, as these details will be displayed on your invoices and provided to clients for payment.
Step 9: Click “Units of Measure”
Create and edit the units of measure used throughout the system, including for assets, quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and job cards. This ensures that quantities and measurements are recorded consistently across all areas of the platform.
Step 10: Click “Email”
Complete your SMTP settings to enable the system to send documents to clients directly from your own email address.
If you prefer documents to be sent to an internal recipient rather than directly to clients, enter the responsible team member’s email address in the corresponding input field in the 'Default Recipient' section.
Step 11: Click “Terms & Conditions”
Set your company terms and conditions for quotations.
Step 12: Click “Access Control”
Manage access control to determine which groups have access to specific apps, features, and functions within the system. This allows you to control user permissions according to their roles and responsibilities.
Step 13: Click “About”
Shows the version of the OS and activate or deactivate the developer settings.
