Exequ-Jobs, Screen by Screen.
Follow a technician's day in the Exequ-Jobs app: from clocking the team in, through collecting stock and doing the job, to the customer's signature and clocking out.
Exequ-Jobs is the app your technicians carry. It runs on Android, works without signal, and everything done in it lands on the job in the office. The four-minute video below follows one real day on a solar installation, and each screen is explained step by step further down the page.
The app has five tabs along the bottom: Home, Jobs, Assets, Clocking and Settings.

- Home, Jobs, Assets, Clocking and Settings.
- Clocking
- The supervisor clocks the whole team in from one phone, group by group, and hours are tracked per person.

Works with no signal, all day
Technicians work in basements, plant rooms, on farms, on roofs in coverage dead zones, and during load shedding when the towers go down. Exequ-Jobs is built offline-first: the day's jobs are already on the phone, and everything the technician does is written to the phone first, whether there is signal or not.
Every step below works the same with or without a connection: clocking the team in, opening the job, receiving a purchase order into the vehicle, using reserved stock, photos and notes, the write-up, and the technician's and customer's signatures and rating. Nothing greys out and nothing is lost. When signal returns, it all syncs to the office automatically in the background, with no button to press.

The home screen
Home
Four counters across the top show the technician's jobs by state: Unsigned, Awaiting, On Hold and Pending. Tap one to list just those jobs. Below, the job in progress shows with its customer, address and contact, a pause button and Arrived - Begin Work. With no job active, the home screen shows short tips on how to use the app: filter jobs, track the journey, document the work, complete checklists and track materials.
Clock in the whole team from one phone
Clocking
Clocking happens once, at the start of the day. The supervisor picks the group they are working with, or Continue Solo, and the session starts. Every member of the group is listed: tap Clock In next to each person as they arrive. General workers without their own login are clocked in the same way, so their hours are tracked too, at no charge.
From then on, hours are tracked per person, not per phone.
Open today's job
Jobs
The Jobs tab lists the technician's jobs as cards: job number, the quotation it came from, customer, site address, date, status and priority. Open one to see the job information, the site address with a navigation button, the contact's phone number, the tasks with how many are done, and the materials the office reserved for the job.
Collect stock from the supplier into the vehicle
Receiving › Purchase Orders
Some items were short in the warehouse and the vehicle, so the office ordered them for collection. At the supplier, the technician opens receiving, where they can choose Internal Transfer, New Stock or one of the job's Purchase Orders.
On the purchase order, the technician sets the Destination, their own vehicle, and receives each line:
- Consumables and bulk items, like wire, trunking or panels, by quantity or length in one step, with quick buttons for 1, 5, 10 or the full amount.
- Tracked products, like an inverter, one unit at a time, with the serial number scanned or typed in and an optional identifier. Continue scanning keeps the scanner open for the next unit.
Each line shows how much has been received, and the purchase order updates as the technician goes, up to Fully received. The Assets tab then shows the new stock in the vehicle.
Use the reserved stock on the job
Job › Materials Used › Edit Material
Back on the job card, Materials Used lists what the office reserved for this job. Tapping a material opens Edit Material, which shows Installed and Reserved side by side.
- Fulfill Reserved takes stock from the vehicle, showing how much is available there, for the quantity actually installed.
- For a tracked product, the technician selects the exact unit, by searching or scanning, so its serial number is linked to the job.
- Return Stock, Add Stock, Cancel Reservation and Decrease Reserved handle anything that did not go as planned.
Every material ends up on the job, down to the serial number.
Photograph the work
Job › Job Photos
Add Photo takes a picture with the camera or picks one from the gallery. Each photo needs a note, such as “Preparing for installation and connection”, so the office knows what it shows, and is filed as Before, After or Other. Add as many as the job needs: panels, wiring, the finished installation.
Purchases, time and the write-up
Job › Purchases, Participants, Work & Notes
The job also holds anything bought on site under Purchases, the purchase orders received for it, and a timesheet per participant with each person's travel and work time.
Under Work & Notes the technician writes up the Work performed, which is required, any Issues encountered, and ticks Requires follow-up? if a return visit is needed. Then Complete Job, or Put On Hold if the work has to pause.
Signatures and the customer's rating
Job › Complete Job
The technician signs off first: their name and a signature drawn on screen. Then the customer, on the same phone, gives a rating from one to five stars, writes feedback, and signs. The job shows as signed, and everything syncs to the office automatically.
Customer not on site? The office sends them the completed job card to review, rate and sign on their own device; see remote sign-off.
Clock the team out
Clocking › End Work Session
When the day is done, not after every job, the supervisor ends the work session. The app asks whether to Clock out all & end, or Just end session and leave people clocked in. Hours, materials, photos and signatures are all on the job, ready to invoice.
Questions about Exequ-Jobs
Can one phone clock in the whole team?
Yes. On the Clocking tab the supervisor picks the group they are working with, and clocks members in one by one as they arrive, including general workers without their own login. Hours are tracked per person. At the end of the day, End Work Session offers to clock out all members and end the session together.
Can a technician book stock straight into their vehicle?
Yes. When the technician collects a purchase order from the supplier, they open it in Exequ-Jobs, choose their vehicle as the destination and receive each line there and then. The stock is on the vehicle, ready for the job, without going through the warehouse.
How are serial numbers captured?
Tracked products are received one unit at a time with their serial number, scanned with the phone’s camera or typed in, plus an optional identifier. When the item is installed, the technician selects that unit, by searching or scanning, so its serial number is linked to the job.
What if the technician brought more stock than was needed?
On the job card, Edit Material shows installed and reserved quantities side by side. The technician fulfils only what was installed, can return stock to the vehicle, and can cancel or decrease what is left of the reservation.
Can the customer sign on the technician’s phone?
Yes. After the technician signs off the completed work, the customer gives a 1 to 5 star rating, writes feedback, enters their name and signs on the screen. If the customer is not on site, the office can send them the completed job card to sign on their own device instead.
Does Exequ-Jobs need mobile signal?
No. Exequ-Jobs is offline-first: the day’s jobs are already on the phone and everything the technician does, from clocking in and receiving stock to photos, notes, signatures and the customer’s rating, is saved on the phone first. Technicians keep working in basements, on farms and during load shedding, and everything syncs to the office automatically in the background when a connection returns.
